Get over to Pitchfork and let your voice be heard!
According to a post on Pitchfork Media last week on Thanksgiving, this week (December 1st – December 7th @ 11:59 PM (central time)) you will be able to cast your votes on your favorites in the year of 2008. Some of the categories that are included are: Favorite Album, Favorite Song, Best Live Act, Best New Artist, Most Underrated Album, Most Overrated Album (The Carter III) and etc.
Pitchfork is going to be posting the results of the Reader’s Poll a week before they post their very own best of 2008 list.

to be honest, i don’t think that it’ll be that high on the fan polling, but i think it will def be that high on the pitchfork editor’s list.

Actually this poll kinda blows… It’s all hipster music and indie rock for the most part, and any of the albums that I would vote for pretty much aren’t on the list. No Black Milk? No Elzhi? No Pete Rock? These are all albums that P4K reviewed and for some dumbass reason didn’t make the list. I decided to not even vote.

well if its any consolation, and i’m sure it’s not cause you’ll just counter and say its not their bet work at all, i voted for Wild Wild Horses for one of my tracks of the year

pitchfork’s survey reminded me that most of their readers are needlessly pretentious fucks who wouldn’t know a good album unless a p4k contributor beat them over the head with it!
