Jadakiss, Ghostface & Reakwon? Get the hell out…

jadakiss1 I started seeing this track everywhere and I had to put something up about it, because it is just that good. I’ve been feeling Jadakiss since his days back in The Lox with Sheek and Styles. His last album, Kiss of Death was a raw ass record and I still bump that shit hard to this day. I don’t even really need to give introductions for Ghostface or Raekwon, so you can imagine just how sick this track is.

The track is called “Cartel Gathering”, and the beat is pretty much ridiculous. All of these emcees showcase their top effort, and Ghost is the first to take off, “Don’t be afraid of the New York Street talk/I switch gear all day bro, like you do in your peach Porsche”. Rae follows suit very nicely, “…That was the 90’s/Chef era take over America/bag Ugly Betty up and make her Ms. Ferrera”. I have to say that I think Jada killed it the most on this track with a vicious flow, “I did it my way, lights off on the highway/Greek statues on both sides of the driveway…”, but the rhyme of all rhymes, “My clientele is supreme and it’s proven, that I’m only built for the link if it’s Cuban”.

I don’t really think I need to say much more about this track, you really need to listen to it for yourself. Make sure you watch out for Jada’s new album (due out when?) The Last Kiss which promises to be a killer record. Also, don’t forget that Raekwon has Only Built For Cuban Linx 2 due out in July via EMI Records.

  1. I must agree, the version I have actually starts with Jadakiss and then ghost then rae and then the same jada verse again last. I like having the verse on there twice the last time you hear it, it really blows your mind. DONT DRINK THE CRYS GHOST PROBLY PISSED IN IT.
