I am very glad to hear that Buff1 & Rhettmatic have found a home for their new Crown Royale project on MYX Music Label. These guys are both absolute monsters in their own right, and this project should be nothing short of phenomenal.  I posted a video of these guys performing this track on Hip Hop Official when they were artist of the week. We now have the .mp3 download of this track thanks to 2DopeBoyz, and it’s definitely something to rejoice about. According to the article on 2DopeBoyz, it looks like the Crown Royale debut album will have a 2010 release. If you aren’t excited about this album, I have lost all faith in humanity. Nuff said.

Crown Royale, “Get It Up”

Last week I posted the Hip Hop Official artist of the week video for these guys. Here is a video of Buff1 & Rhettmatic performing the track, “Get It Up”, that is going to be on their upcoming album. As usual, Buff tears the mic apart and Rhett lays down a nasty hard hitting beat. I can assure you that this project is going to be nuts.

Buff1 & DJ Rhettmatic are Crown Royale

By the sounds of this video, these two cats are going to be doing some huge things. Crown Royale (Buff1 + Rhettmatic) is Hip Hop Official‘s newest artist of the week. I personally had no idea that these guys were going to be doing a project together. Rhett was on Buff’s last album but I didn’t know they were going to be making an album. When you mix one of the best DJs in the world and an amazing yet versatile emcee you are going to have one hell of a duo.
