Wild Style Wednesday Review: Cage, Hell’s Winter

Hells WinterHell’s Winter might be one of the best label debuts I’ve ever heard. Hell’s Winter is Cage’s sophomore album, and it saw him coming into a different light than Movies For The Blind, and all I can say is that this album is really fucking impressive. Cage rhymes about some of the most insane shit that I’ve ever heard, but the crazy part is that he has actually lived most of it.  Def Jux as a label has put out a lot of really good material, but this album might be the best. This album makes for one hell of a violently vicious view inside of Cage’s mind. Continue reading →

Random Axe Will Be Coming Out On Duckdown Records

This is some of the best news I’ve heard all year long. Black Milk, Sean Price & Guilty Simpson have signed their deal with Duckdown Records for the Random Axe project. My anticipation for this album is crazy because I know it is going to be one of the best of the year. Listen to Sean Price as he makes everything official!

Evidence & Fashawn Tear Apart 101Barz Radio

All I can say after watching this video is holy shit. I’m serious, this is one of the best freestyle sessions I’ve heard in years. Evidence & Fashawn dropped by 101Barz and decided to do a mad freestyle session. I’m telling you people watch out for Fashawn, he’s going to be doing some serious things when his LP Boy Meets World drops. As to be expected EV does his thing as well and leaves the microphone battered and beaten.
