It seems like October 20th is never going to come. I spotted this leak over at Nah Right, the track is called “New Money”, and it’s produced by Streetrunner. This track is definitely dope as hell, and it shows just how diverse Royce’s flow is. I know I am going to be at Best Buy on October 20th when Street Hop drops, and you should all feel ashamed if you aren’t picking it up.

Premo is easily one of the greatest producers in the history of the game. As many would say, if he co-signs it you know it’s straight fire. In his interview with As The World Spins, he tells us (which I am highly grateful to hear) that Royce’s album Street Hop will be hitting the streets on October 11th, and that there isn’t a Premo beat on the Slaughterhouse album because he was mixing Street Hop. DJ Premier also mentions that he is down to do a new Gang Starr album as soon as Guru is ready, because he loves the chemistry that they have together. It’s also great to hear Premier talk about what he would consider “real Hip-Hop”, he couldn’t be more right.

Sadly enough, Royce’s new album Street Hop has been pushed back until September to make way for the new Slaughterhouse album. I’ve been waiting for this one for awhile. Here is the premier video for Royce Da 5’9″s single “Part of Me”, which is one Royce’s new album Street Hop due out April 21st. I can’t tell you how much I am anticipating to hear this new album of his, and this video is a great preface to it. Royce is one of those cats that has an unbelievable ability of story telling. The concept for this video is amazing and shouldn’t be missed. Make sure you go out and get Street Hop on April 21st, could be a major contender for album of the year.

This trailer makes this video look like it’s going to be amazing, and to tell you the truth I will be surprised if it’s anything short of great. Royce Da 5’9″ has been creating a lot of hype lately for his new album Street Hop which is executive produced by DJ Premier. I can’t wait for this album to drop because it’s going to make some serious tremors on the underground and mainstream levels. Take a listen to the song as well because Royce has some of the best story telling abilities you will ever hear.

It’s almost as if we haven’t heard a great deal of magnificent music from the city of Detroit this year. Royce Da 5’9″ dropped this video for the lead single off of his soon to come masterpiece Street Hop. If you watch the video closely you will also notice that DJ Premier makes a couple of cameos in this video, well that’s because he executive produced the whole Royce album. If you aren’t familiar with Royce you need to get acclimated with him because you are truly missing out on something special. I can honestly say that this may be one of my most anticipated albums for next year, next to the Elzhi & Royce Da 5’9″ album (that’s right they are doing an entire album together) and Guilty Simpson & Sean Price album.
