All I have to say is… Holy Shit. This is going to be incredible.

Here is your chance to listen to the new Ghostface album, Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry, before it hits the shelves on this coming Tuesday. I can tell you that from what I’ve heard, this album definitely sounds interesting. Big shout out to iMeem & 2DopeBoyz for making this one possible.

Here’s an album that is way off of the hype meter for me. October 20th can not come soon enough. As I’ve mentioned at least 15 times, Fashawn’s album Boy Meets World comes out next month. Chances are, it is going to be one of the best debuts I’ve ever heard. The album is produced entirely by Exile, and it features Evidence, Blu, Aloe Blacc and more. Make sure you go out and cop this album. Support real Hip-Hop. Follow me after the jump for the tracklisting. Continue reading
After watching this video I can surely come to one conclusion. Radio Do Canibal is going to be a great, yet very interesting album. BK-One is an intelligent dude and you can tell he’s up on his shit. He discusses the music that inspired him to make this album, and the soundscapes you can expect to hear. Next he mentions how long he’s known Ali, and how long he’s been his tour DJ. BK also breaks down a few of the collaborations on the album, and how he loves bringing together legends on his album with the people he’s known and grown up with. On top of that, BK talks about the history of Rhymesayers and what they’ve been about the whole time.
Parker mentions DJ AM & Roc Raida and BK gives his thoughts about them, and how they’ve inspired him in what he does. He then shouts out Benzilla and talks a little bit about how the production was handled on the album. I can’t wait until this album drops, it’s going to be one of the most musically diverse albums to come out this year. Radio Do Canibal October 6th, get it.

Damn this one makes me feel really good. These two need to put out another album as soon as possible.

Good Lord, Sean Price has done it again. The artwork to this one looks pretty epic, and according to the post at 2DopeBoyz, this mixtape will be a prelude to the upcoming Mic Tyson project. It is going to be dropping on October 27th. You can expect to hear: The Boot Camp Clik, Royce Da 5’9″, Rock (of Heltah Skeltah), Ruste Juxx, Torae, Skyzoo & Poison Pen all rocking with Kimo Price. Don’t sleep on Sean P, you will regret it.

I would have posted this yesterday when the news came about, but I didn’t have a chance to get to it. I had logged on to Twitter for the first (and only time yesterday) and saw that R.I.P. Roc Raida was a trend and I went motionless. I couldn’t believe that another legend in the game of Hip-Hop, not to mention one of the best DJ’s of all-time, passed away. I’m still expressionless about the matter, yet another talented soul that was taken much too early.
Many of you may know Anthony Williams (AKA DJ Roc Raida) as being a part of the DJ clique The X-Ecutioners, and many of you may know of his solo material that he released over the years. One thing is for certain, Roc Raida is one of the most talented individuals to have ever touched the decks. He was the 1995 DMC World DJ Champion, and anyone who has seen the man in action will testify that he’s unreal. If you don’t know what I mean, just watch the video I’ve attached below of Roc performing with Bussa Buss just a short month ago.

YES! My dreams have come true. What many would say is arguably the greatest band of the 90’s, Pavement, is getting back together for an official reunion. Numerous reports from Pitchfork & The Brooklyn Vegan have confirmed rumors that Pavement will be reuniting in 2010. According to what I’ve read, Pavement will be reuniting for Central Park SummerStage on September 21st, 2010. There is also talks of Pavement playing Coachella, ATP & maybe even a full length tour.
I can assure you I will be scrapping like hell to get some tickets to First Avenue in MPLS if these guys come through. I’ve been a huge Pavement fan for the last five or six years since I found out about them. Everything that these guys did was genius, and their music will always be timeless. Pavement is easily one of my favorite bands in Rock & Roll history.
Now it’s time for some Pavement Classics to celebrate:

I wasn’t originally going to put this up, because people always say any publicity is good publicity. I am also pretty much positive that every single person in the Blogosphere has already touched on this topic. I do, however, feel that I must voice my opinion on Kanye West (as I have many times in the past) in a more professional manner.
Many of you that read this blog might feel that I am way out of my element. This is totally fine, because living in America we are all entitled to our own opinions. What I am posting here is an Opinion Editorial that I was required to write for one of my classes in school. I worked hard on it, and I truly mean what I say in this Op. Ed. Follow me after the jump to read my thoughts.
The Fresh Air Tour with Brother Ali, Evidence, Toki Wright, and BK-One is about to kick off! Get your tickets! should be dope!
