I was excited to jump on my Twitter account and discover that Cage leaked another track off of Depart From Me. This track is called “Look at What You Did” and it is produced by Sean Martin of the Carboard City crew. The production is very heavy and sound similar to “Nothing Left To Say” when it kicks in. The synth in this track may cave your chest in if you play it too loud (literally) and the guitar strums make for a very nice touch. As usual, Palko spits his eerie flow very well over this beat, and makes me anticipate his new album even more.

Brooklyn emcee and
Mos Def is part of one of my favorite duos of all-time (Black Star), and to be honest I really haven’t felt any of his solo projects since Black On Both Sides. The New Danger had Mos going in a different direction than previously heard, and Tru3 Magic just seemed like it was (for the lack of a better term) a half-assed effort. I remember hearing the buzz that this album was coming out this year, and prior to its release I was waiting with great anticipation. I can tell you that this album absolutely eclipses his two prior efforts, and to go even further I just may like this album more than Black On Both Sides.
Soul Assassins’ Intermission is yet another album you will find me picking up when it drops on June 23rd. “Let Go (My Life)” is the newest single off of the new Soul Assassins album Intermission, and it features the up and coming West Coast Killer Fashawn. As you may recall my boy Ryan had posted the video for the first single “Classical” with Sick Jacken & Evidence. By the two tracks that I’ve heard already it sounds like this album is going to be pretty damn good. Follow me after the jump for the download of “Let Go (My Life)”, the video for “Classical” and the tracklisting for Intermission.
