Much like the track I posted yesterday, “Fash Plays it Cool“, Fashawn shows off that liquid smooth flow of his over some incredible Alchemist beats. First off, I want to say that Sean Price is a fucking monster. This guy can rhyme better than 90% of the emcees that are out there right now. Thanks to the homeboy Shake, we have three new joints off of P’s upcoming album Kimbo Price. The first track is entitled “Duck Down” and it features fellow Brooklyn fire-spitters Skyzoo & Torae. I don’t really think that I need to tell you readers that these guys raid this beat like a SWAT team, and Skyzoo even drops a dope ass Prop Joe reference from The Wire. On the other two tracks, “MegaSean” & “Boostin’ Mobiles”, Sean P rides solo and shows why he’s easily one of the best and most witty emcees in the game. You aren’t sleeping on Jesus Price Superstar are you?

I am very glad to hear that Buff1 & Rhettmatic have found a home for their new Crown Royale project on MYX Music Label. These guys are both absolute monsters in their own right, and this project should be nothing short of phenomenal. I posted a video of these guys performing this track on Hip Hop Official when they were artist of the week. We now have the .mp3 download of this track thanks to 2DopeBoyz, and it’s definitely something to rejoice about. According to the article on 2DopeBoyz, it looks like the Crown Royale debut album will have a 2010 release. If you aren’t excited about this album, I have lost all faith in humanity. Nuff said.

Thanks to Shake for the heads-up on this gem. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Fashawn is going to be putting out a mixtape entitled The Antidote that is solely produced by Alchemist. This is the first leak off of the mixtape, and it is called “Fash Plays it Cool”. This track is incredibly fresh, and it makes me want to hear the finished project even more. Fashawn is one of the dopest emcees on the West Coast right now, and as you know Alchemist is very nice with the beats. These two getting together is something that should happen way more often. Even though I’ve said it at least a million times, make sure you go out and get Boy Meets World when it drops on October 20th.

Have I ever mentioned that Minneapolis Hip-Hop is the shit? BK-One, who is Brother Ali’s tour DJ, will be dropping his new album Rádio Do Canibal with Benzilla on October 6th. This is the first leak off of the project and it features MPLS native Brother Ali, Phonte & The Grouch. The beat on this track is bananas, and it’s definitely something I could see myself listening to on a regular basis. It sounds like this project is going to be nothing short of amazing, and it will have a star studded cast of emcees. I want to send a mad shout out to 2DopeBoyz, as always, for posting these two gems. I had caught eye of these projects last week, but was unable to get them up because of school priorities. Blu has been one of my favorite West Coast emcees since he dropped the album Below The Heavens with Exile. These two projects that he’s released are instrumentals that he’s as of late. A lot of cats might be pretty pissed that Blu is just producing and not rhyming, because everyone knows Blu is very nice with the mic.
